Most Orion Stars play happens on a phone. The three platforms behave differently enough to be worth understanding before you install anything.
Orion Stars runs on Android, iPhone and web. They reach the same account and the same library, but they get there differently.
Android is the most direct path. Your agent sends the app file, you install it, and you sign in.
Because the file comes from a link rather than a store listing, Android will ask you to confirm the install from that source. That prompt is expected. What matters is that the file came from your agent's message rather than a search result - the prompt is the same either way, so the safety comes from the source, not the warning.
Android may block the install until you allow it for the app doing the installing, usually your browser or messaging app. This is a normal permission step. Orion Stars not working covers what to do when it still will not proceed.
iPhone works differently because iOS is stricter about apps distributed outside the App Store. The steps are more involved than on Android, and they are covered properly in the iPhone install guide.
If the process looks like more effort than you want, the web version is the practical alternative on iOS and needs no install at all.
The web version runs in your phone's browser. Nothing to install, nothing to update, and it works the same on iPhone and Android.
It is also the best troubleshooting tool you have. If something is wrong and web works, the problem is the installed app rather than your account - that narrows things down immediately.
The games are graphical and run live, so they use data continuously rather than in bursts. On a limited plan, prefer Wi-Fi. If a session feels laggy on cellular, connection quality is the first thing to check.
Sustained graphics plus a live connection drains a battery faster than routine phone use. Long fish sessions in particular are demanding. Worth knowing before a session away from a charger.
The app needs room to install and to update. If an install fails on a nearly-full phone, clearing space is the first thing to try.
Cross-device play is supported, so you can start on a phone and continue on a larger screen with the same credentials. You will simply be asked to sign in on the new device. The login guide covers that.
Most mobile problems come from one of a small number of causes, and they are worth knowing before you hit them:
Orion Stars not working covers the fixes for each of these.
The app is the smoother experience day to day. It opens straight to the library, keeps you signed in, and does not depend on browser behaviour.
The web version wins on flexibility: nothing to install, nothing to update, works identically on any device, and it is the fastest way to check whether a problem is your account or your phone. Many players end up using both, and there is no reason not to.
A live game on cellular is workable but sensitive to signal quality. If you play while travelling, expect variation, and be aware that sustained graphics plus a live connection is one of the more demanding things a phone does to a battery.
A phone is personal, which is exactly why it is worth locking. Use a device passcode, avoid staying signed in on a shared device, and never send your password to anyone - support does not need it.
Set a session limit before you start. A phone is always within reach, which makes it easy to play for longer than intended. Orion Stars is 18+ and intended as entertainment; see responsible gaming.
The app is supplied by your agent as a download link rather than through a public store listing. A web version is available with no install.
Yes, either through the app using the iPhone install steps, or through the web version with no install.
The games run live and are graphical, so data use is continuous. Wi-Fi is preferable on a limited plan.
Yes. Sign in with the same credentials on each device.
